They sold one of these figures while I was there, and the owner wanted to take it
right away, so two people carried it out.  At first it looked like they were carrying a corpse.





Suh Jeong Min.  "Reeds by a River."  South Korean.  Mulberry Paper.
Juh began by writing a poem on pieces of hanji (mulberry paper).  Then he cut
the pieces of paper and rolled them tightly.  He then cut them in half length-wise
and assembled them here.  So you see what almost appears to be reeds blowing
in a breeze.

"Stallman" is actualyl two men.  They cut canvas into strips three inches wide and
stand them on their side.  These are hundreds of strips of canvas.

directly in front of it





Buddha disappears when you stand directly in front.

This is part of a set of 40 varieties of soup.  Today the price depends
on the variety of soup.  This was going for $52,000, but if you can
find a "Tomato," the most highly desirable, the price is close
to $1 million.
