Palm Beach Jewelry, Art, and Antiques Show 2019 - Part 3

It was a very exciting show, crowded on Thursday, not very crowded on Monday.
So I could talk with dealers and salespersons at some length.
Emile Galle.  "Peony Cameo Glass Lamp."  French.
Objects ranged from 3500 B.C. Chinese ceramics to contemporary jewelry.

Interior decoration and antique furniture were very popular.  The chest is decorated in
micro-mosaic.

Images are made of tiny pieces of glass, smaller than a grain of rice.  Micro-mosaic.

Sevres Porcelain with Ormolu Mounts

Andy Warhol.  "Marilyn."

Cliff Lee.  "Pair of incised vessels."
Cliff carves the surface of the porcelain before he glazes and fires it; this is an
ancient Chinese craft.  The images are very subtle.
