There were a series of portraits of pop musicians in a fairly seedy section of Wynwood.
Many homeless people were sleeping on the sidewalk. This is George Harrison or
John Lennon, I think. Or Bruno Mars?

"New World Water." Another environmental/artistic statement. The wave is derived
from Japanese artist, Hiroshige. The purity of the water and the native woman on the
left are changed by pollution and fire and destruction.
Humans and birds are destroyed on the right.

Pez Barcelona. "Smiling since 1999." Spanish Street Artist.
The artist created the smiling fish ("pez" in Spanish), and it gradually became
his symbol and signature as well as very popular motif. He's from Barcelona.

RETNA. "Wynwood Arts Complex." Los Angeles Graffiti Artist.
RETNA is one of the most popular and famous street artists; his works are found in cities
around the globe. He has participated in Wynwood murals from the beginning. He invents
a new calligraphy which is a mixture of Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, and his own
imagination. In this case it covers a wall eight stories high. It suggests a message,
without being literal. Many, many of his works can be found on the internet.

These are two parts of a long mural alongside a parking lot behind an iron fence.
I couldn't get in, so I put my camera through an opening and shot the best I could.

Alexis is very popular and has several murals in Wynwood, including the
very famous Mastodon. Many works on the internet.
